Our Team.
We are a family owned business based in Springville, Utah. Jay Fontano - The BirdBrain himself - grew up being called Jaybird by his parents. Whenever his dad was "especially impressed" with his levels of intelligence, he called him "Bird Brain." Well that name stuck. Jay has been a professional illustrator and designer for nearly 20 years working in the t-shirt industry as well as illustrating children's books, designing logos, posters and toys. At BirdBrain Tees Jay has help from his wife and their 8 kids. They love creating and having fun together.
